Causes of copper wire blackening

The reasons for the blackening of copper wires compiled by the editor: 1. The area of the drawing emulsion oil pool is small, the return pipeline is short, and it is sealed, resulting in slow heat dissipation and high emulsion oil temperature. 2. It is caused by copper wire annealing. ① The cooling water used for continuous cooling is usually tap water and groundwater. Due to the varying water quality in different regions, the pH value of water in some areas is low, only 5.5-5.0 (normally 7.0-7.5). The antioxidant oil film in the original emulsion has been cleaned, and the annealed copper wire is prone to oxidation and blackening; ② The finished copper wire drawn by an ordinary wire drawing machine is annealed on another annealing line, and the cooling water does not use antioxidants. The oxidation resistance time is short, and oxidation and blackening phenomenon will soon occur;

How to recognize the difference between cables and wires, optical cables, and optical fibers

In fact, there is no strict boundary between "wires" and "cables". Products with fewer cores, smaller product diameters, and simpler structures are usually referred to as wires, those without insulation are referred to as bare wires, and others are referred to as cables; The conductor with a large cross-sectional area (more than 6 square millimetre) is called a large wire, the smaller one (less than or equal to 6 square millimetre) is called a small wire, and the insulated wire is also called a wiring wire.

Is it better to use single stranded wires or multi stranded wires

1、 The difference between single and multi stranded wires Actually, it is easy to understand literally that each wire of a single stranded wire is composed of a single thick wire, also known as a hard wire; And each wire with multiple strands is a wire composed of multiple thin copper wires, also known as a flexible wire.
