Recently, the National Energy Administration issued a letter agreeing to officially list the world's first Shaanxi Binchang 660MW ultra-supercritical circulating fluidized bed power generation project as a national power demonstration project. The approval of this demonstration project marks that Harbin Boiler Factory Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Harbin Electric Boiler") has reached the world's leading level in the "intelligent manufacturing" of ultra-supercritical CFB circulating fluidized bed boilers.
  
According to reports, the project is jointly declared by Harbin Electric Boiler, Guoshen Group and Northwest Electric Power Design Institute, and the project focuses on building the world's first 660MW ultra-supercritical, ultra-low energy consumption, ultra-low emission "three super" circulating fluidized bed power generation demonstration project burning low calorific value coal.
 
Shaanxi Binchang Project has achieved the first demonstration project approval, Binchang low calorific value coal 660MW "three super" CFB power generation theory, technical breakthroughs and project demonstration construction, will effectively consolidate China's world leading position in the field of CFB power generation technology, further improve the level of clean and efficient comprehensive utilization of coal, and provide important technical support and industrial guarantee for the implementation of the new development concept and the promotion of ecological civilization construction.
 
Compared with the traditional pulverized coal boiler technology, ultra-supercritical CFB technology can effectively improve the utilization level and combustion efficiency of low calorific value coal. Harbin Electric Boiler is the earliest enterprise engaged in the design and manufacture of large-scale CFB boilers in China, has always attached importance to the technology research and development of large-scale CFB, independently developed the first domestic 50MW~330MW grade CFB boiler, and undertook the "600MW supercritical circulating fluidized bed boiler body design and development" project in the national science and technology support plan, and the self-developed "660MW high-efficiency ultra-supercritical circulating fluidized bed boiler" passed the review in 2017. At the same time, it has also developed 660MW secondary reheat ultra-supercritical CFB technology to contribute wisdom and solutions to the construction of a beautiful China.
 
It is understood that Shaanxi Binchang 660MW ultra-supercritical CFB power generation project is located in Xinmin Town, Binzhou City, Shaanxi Province, the coal source is mixed coal for burning slime, gangue, and end raw coal, the design coal slime and gangue account for 75%, and the annual consumption of coal is about 1.864 million tons, of which 1.398 million tons of low-calorific value slime and gangue / year, in line with China's new era energy development strategy. The project adopts the simple and energy-saving M-type boiler design scheme of flow state reconstruction + low bed pressure, realizes completely independent intellectual property rights, and the boiler body and key components are all localized, making it the CFB boiler with the largest stand-alone capacity and the highest parameter in the world. The boiler efficiency of the unit is 93.5%, the main steam pressure is 29.4MPa, the main steam temperature is 605°C, the reheater temperature is 623°C, the standard coal consumption of power supply is 289.7g/kWh, the soot emission concentration is ≤5mg/Nm3, the SO2 emission concentration is ≤35mg/Nm3, and the NOx emission concentration is ≤50mg/Nm3.
 
It is reported that the approval of the demonstration project once again shows that Harbin Electric Boiler has made a qualitative leap in the field of CFB boiler design and manufacturing, occupied the commanding heights of CFB boiler technology, and laid a solid foundation for further developing the CFB boiler market.
