As one of the largest supporting industries in the national economy, wire and cable is the basis of various industries, and its products are widely used in electric power, construction, civil, communications, shipbuilding, military, aviation and petrochemical and other fields. Wire and cable according to the use can be divided into power cable, electrical equipment cable, winding wire, bare wire, communication cable and wire and cable accessories, from the 2017 China wire and cable industry segment market size proportion, power cable occupies the largest part of the wire and cable business, the scale accounts for 35.7%, followed by electrical equipment cable, winding wire, accounting for 20% and 15.7% respectively.

Recently, the National Energy Administration issued a letter agreeing to officially list the world's first Shaanxi Binchang 660MW ultra-supercritical circulating fluidized bed power generation project as a national power demonstration project. The approval of this demonstration project marks that Harbin Boiler Factory Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Harbin Electric Boiler") has reached the world's leading level in the "intelligent manufacturing" of ultra-supercritical CFB circulating fluidized bed boilers.
According to reports, the project is jointly declared by Harbin Electric Boiler, Guoshen Group and Northwest Electric Power Design Institute, and the project focuses on building the world's first 660MW ultra-supercritical, ultra-low energy consumption, ultra-low emission "three super" circulating fluidized bed power generation demonstration project burning low calorific value coal.
